ARTERIOSCLEROTIC ILLNESS OF LOWER MEMBERS
ANGIOPLASTIA CASE 001/05

Man of 68 years of age, with antecedents of arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, kidney failure and smoking, who consults by intermittent yielding of right lower member to less than 10 meters in plain. At clinical exam it is observed distal paleness and coldness of the right lower extremity, with decrease of pulses and alterations tróficas.
A arteriografía is carried out which shows area of critical estenosis in 1/3 proximal of the right external iliac artery (greater of the 70%). Seeing FIG 1.
Endoluminal procedure is carried out of the wound by means of angioplastia, achieving adequate morphological turn out . The patient leaves hospital two days after the procedure, with disappearance of the symptoms.

| CONCLUSIONS |
| The establishment of stents nasolacrimales constitutes a minimum invasive and efficient alternative for the procedures of estenosis and occlusions of the nasolacrimal conduit. |
