¿QUÉ ES EL VARICOCELE?

tratamiento_varicocele1.jpg El varicocele es una dilatación varicosa de las venas del testículo y del escroto que puede doler, producir atrofia testicular o problemas de infertilidad. Como ocurre en las las piernas, estas venas contienen válvulas que permiten que la sangre vaya desde los testículos hacia el corazón, pero no a la inversa. Es por ello que cuando estas válvulas fallan se produce reflujo de la sangre la cual produce dilataciones venosas alrededor del testículo causando el varicocele.
